Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 July 2026

This policy explains what personal data is collected when you visit riccardomazzon.com, why it is collected, and what your rights are. It is written in plain English and covers everything on this site.

The data controller is Riccardo Mazzon. If you have any questions, email info@riccardomazzon.com.

What data is collected

This site collects personal data in two ways:

  • Booking a discovery call. When you book a call via the booking widget on this site, you provide your name and email address. This is handled by Cal.eu, a third-party scheduling service. The data is processed on their platform and subject to their own privacy policy.
  • Sending an email. If you email info@riccardomazzon.com directly, the content of that email — including your name and email address — is received and stored in my inbox.

This site also collects data passively while you browse:

  • Website analytics. This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregate traffic, such as page views and visit counts. It is cookieless and does not track you across sites or collect any personal identifiers.
  • Booking widget script. The Cal.eu booking widget loads on every page (not only when you open it), which means your browser connects to Cal.eu's servers as soon as the page loads. See "Third-party services" below.

This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and does not sell or share data for advertising purposes.

Why it is collected

  • Booking data is collected to arrange and manage a discovery call. The legal basis is legitimate interest and, where a call leads to an engagement, the performance of a contract.
  • Email correspondence is retained to respond to enquiries and maintain a record of conversations. The legal basis is legitimate interest.

Your data is never sold, shared with third parties for marketing purposes, or used for any purpose other than the one it was collected for.

Third-party services

The booking widget on this site is provided by Cal.eu (Calcom, Inc.). Its script loads on every page so the widget is ready to open instantly, which means your browser connects to Cal.eu's servers on every visit, not only when you book a call. When you do book a call, you interact directly with their platform. Calcom processes your data in accordance with their own privacy policy, which you can read at cal.com/privacy.

This site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure traffic. It is provided by Cloudflare, Inc., runs without cookies, and only reports aggregate, anonymous metrics — it cannot identify individual visitors. Read more at cloudflare.com/web-analytics.

No other third-party services process personal data through this site.

How long data is kept

  • Booking data is managed by Cal.eu. Refer to their privacy policy for their retention practices.
  • Email enquiries are kept for as long as they are relevant to an ongoing or potential engagement, and deleted when no longer needed.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data held about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Restrict how your data is processed
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, email info@riccardomazzon.com. Requests will be responded to within 30 days.

Complaints

If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK's supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
